Can I just tell you how much I love smoothies, especially in the summertime? Not only are they incredibly delicious, they’re also good for your body! Smoothies are nutrient dense, but still light and refreshing at the same time! I am a serious addict. In fact, I drink one almost everyday. I recently went on vacation to Montreal and there was literally a smoothie stand or shop around every corner. I was in health food heaven. If I haven’t convinced you to love on smoothies, then you’ll just have to try one for yourself. Here’s a sample recipe… but seriously anything works for smoothies! I like to keep my smoothies vegan, so that means I stick to only fresh fruit, veggies, ice and water, and maybe I’ll blend in a pre-made smoothie, as long as its ingredients are just fruit as well!
MANGO APRICOT SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
1/2 small banana
1 cup frozen strawberries/ apricots
1 small nectarine
1/2 cup mango juice
1 cup ice/ water
Ingredients:
