A Simple Summer Salad

Nothing is more satisfying on a hot summer day than hydrating your body with fresh fruits and veggies!  Why not combine the two in a simple summer salad?  Spinach + red onions + green onions + strawberries + blueberries = a perfect combination of healthy, sweet, and savory!  Top this salad off with a drizzle of balsamic reduction, oil and vinegar, a fruity vinaigrette, or simply a squeeze of lemon and olive oil, and there you have it… a great side salad or starter.  Add in some avocado, grilled salmon, tofu, chicken, hard- boiled eggs, or any other protein source and you’ve got a great, light lunch that will fill you up without fattening you up!  Simple and sweet!
